The Architect Map is a crowd-sourced map of built environment people, all over the world, who use the social networking tool twitter.
The map helps them find each other, and helps you find them.
The Architect Map is free to use and free to join – just sign in with twitter on the home page to get started.
The map has its own blog to which you can subscribe, and there is also an option to receive updates via email about the progress of the map.
We even have our own Facebook Page, if that’s your bag.
Why join the ArchitectMap?
We know that people are finding all sorts of ways to use the map. Here are some examples.
- Finding local built environment twitter users to network with;
- Looking for a local architect for their project (as featured in the Independent);
- Looking for a local piling contractor to go on a tender list;
- Finding like minded professionals to join a ‘face to face’ networking group;
- Looking for a job by following local businesses in your sector;
Why not join the map, make sure the AEC twitter users you know are on it, and help other people find you?
Take a look at the map and see who is in your area using twitter.
