Find UK Construction People on Twitter

Many interesting people in the UK Construction industry are now joining twitter but it is sometimes difficult to find them.

UK Construction on Twitter

You can go to wefollow.com “a User Powered Twitter Directory” and search for some terms there (the service was set up by the creators of twitter – people can add themselves under three categories at a time).
Take a look at #Construction

You could check out Twellow.com “The Twitter Yellow Pages” if you can bear the clunky design and ads. Take a look at “UK Construction”

And now you can do something else – check out UK Construction on Twitter.

After the success of the Architects Twitter League many other construction people have asked about what else is planned. Martin Brown set out in his great post ‘Twittering on the Edge of Chaos’ – We’ll have to wait and see because I’ve no idea…yet. Twitter is an evolving beast.

Managing the league is pretty hard work because I currently have to enter each new person on the league individually, so I’m not volunteering to do the same with other disciplines. However new ways of using twitter are emerging all the time, and the simplest idea I had was to follow all the UK Construction tweeps in one place; that way you can find them too as I do.

When I find UK Construction people I’ll follow them from UK Construction. If I have any doubts if you are a UK Construction tweeter I’ll check out your profile – and you can encourage me to follow you be following UK Construction. If you find some UK Construction people you can point them out to me too, just @ukconstruction with tweets of interest.

ArchitectLeague on Twitter Like the Architects Twitter League Account, items of interest to the followers will be tweeted at my discretion – you can always ask me – but the objective is not to spam the followers, its to draw your attention to the followed, so I won’t be tweeting too often.

If you’ve got any ideas for what constructive things I could do with UK Construction and ArchitectsLeague then do let me know.

Hope you like the UKConstruction twitter account. Tell your friends about UK Construction. Lets see if its useful!
