Su has run a couple of workshops for the FIS, both for staff and members. In every case the workshops have been well prepared, thoughtful and full of practical advice to get even the most nervous social media flower blossoming with confidence. The great thing about Su is that once you’ve worked with her she continues to offer support and help. This is vital in an ever changing social media world. At the FIS we count her as a friend and supporter.
#ff @subutcher She’s always got helpful stuff to say & cares about what she does & how she does it.
Fantastic to finally meet @SuButcher yesterday. Her social media accounts have genuinely inspired me to work in construction.
We have worked with Just Practising for a couple of years now. From social media training to event coverage and blog writing, Su’s work is always professional, efficient and second to none in terms of market insight and practical applications. The coverage during events and reports we receive are invaluable for demonstrating objectively the visibility/impact of interest in our subject matter to the industry and wider audiences.
Gunnebo invited Su to address an international audience during a product launch which we held in Paris in November 2013. The presentation addressed the interaction with architects and the use of social media.
“I have been given a number of talks on social media but Su beat them all. It was by far the best presentation on the subject I have ever attended in the way it was comprehensive, understandable and very hands-on. I would say that the vast majority who attended the presentation, around 100 people, came out feeling the same way.
“Su is very knowledeable and she conveys this knowledge and her experience in a great way.
Thank you for facilitating the live blog and for all the support Su @UK_Housing. #Retrofit14 from the @Susthomes team
Thanks @SuButcher for a great Twitter workshop today, really enjoyed it and definitely recommend others to go to the next one!
@SuButcher Very good workshop about social media in the RIBA yesterday. Thank you
I have had the privilege and pleasure of having Su support the COMIT conferences with social media coverage before and during the events for a few years now. The boost that this gives to the community, the presenters and also our sponsors if exceptional. Su’s preparation for the event and the volume/ content of tweets during it gives us a real edge over other conferences. I would highly recommend any event or organisation who wants to really make a bigger impact to engage Su. She is a real “force multiplier”.
Wow! Tweets from our #Workplace Trends #Copenhagen conference #wtrendsdk had 4M impressions! Thank you @SuButcher for your fantastic live blogging!
Su Butcher put together an excellent bespoke session when we launched our Social Media Working Group. We started with wide differences in our knowledge of social media, The day-long class got us all up to speed on LinkedIn and Twitter and taught us ways to use them properly and effectively.
Huge thanks to @SuButcher for speaking at our Business Development Forum this morning. Really useful tips on social media for business.
Su Butcher is one of those rare individuals who carry their learning, expertise and experience lightly and, who generously shares them all.
The generosity makes her a great networker and she uses social media to extend her network and influence in canny and thoughtful ways.
The 140 characters in Twitter never seem to limit her ability to communicate and her well-regarded live blogging skills helped spread the word about the Government Construction Summit and many other events.
Su is at the crest of the social-media-wave as the leading social strategist in construction. The construction industry is lucky to have her and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Su, Just wanted to say how impressed I was with the interest you generated at our recent Gherkin event with live blogging. Your live blogging during the event was instrumental in generating debate about the issues we were discussing: being able to follow it and get involved after the event was an excellent way to find out about peoples ideas and concerns. The way this supported the live discussions shows what social media is capable of when used in an innovative and constructive way.
Su delivered an insightful and engaging session that reached the whole team (some of which were social media sceptics). A thoroughly enjoyable and valuable workshop.
I’m now working my way through a list of tasks as a result of Su’s excellent workshop. I naively thought I knew what LinkedIn could do and came away from the workshop realising that up to now I have only scratched the surface. Through a mixture of exercises, slides and discussions the whole group learnt how they could improve their use of LinkedIN, backed up by sound business sense. Su is also great at explaining the mechanics of social media and why it is so useful to small businesses.
