Welcome to the 162 new additions to the Architects Twitter League. I started the league at the end of 2008 as a way of putting architects on twitter in touch with each other, I hope you meet some new contacts via the league.
You can see the full league of Architects on Twitter here.
Each architect in the league is also followed by a dedicated twitter account @ArchitectLeague and since Lists came in on twitter by the Twitter Lists: ArchitectLeague and ArchitectLeague2 so you can follow them there as well (or instead).
Since the league was created I’ve been looking for ways to learn more about architects on twitter. One recent project was to look at when all the architects who joined twitter.com. You can see the most recent results on this blog post: Architects joining twitter peaked in Spring 09
If you’ve got any suggestions for the league, or the twitter account, do leave a comment here or on twitter. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks Tyson! The original idea came from Steven Healey @stevenhealey who had found the Twitter League software (developed by @OllieParsley) and was using it for his own lists. You can make your own twitter league at http://www.twitterleague.com
Thanks for the encouragment.

Thanks. This is a good idea with a lot of potential to grow into other things. What is the reason for the two lists (ArchitectLeague and ArchitectLeague2)? Are they different?
su says
Hi Adam,
Twitter only lets you have 500 users in a list, so one has about 500 and the other is filling up. When we pass 1000 I guess I’ll have to set up ArchitectLeague3… As it turned out some of the earliest architects I found are in ArchitectLeague2, but its pure chance which one you’re in.
Thanks for asking!

Thanks for the 500 explanation.
