Su’s #Ecobuild2016 Scrapbook

I’ve been going to Ecobuild Search for years, sometimes to meet people, sometimes for clients, sometimes for events and to speak. This year I’m there on 9th March but will also be in town on the evening of 8th and 9th for events.

Here are the places I’ll be if you want to catch up:

• London Constructing Excellence Club are holding their monthly meeting on the evening of 8th at the London Capital Club, Abchurch Lane in the City. Find out more and book here. Hashtag will be #lcecBIM
• Ecobuild Fringe aka #Ecofringe supported by ACO takes place throughout the three days – I’ll be there on the morning of the 9th.
• If you’re interested in BIM for Manufacturing the BIM4M2 group has produced a useful blog post guide to where to find relevant events at Ecobuild – including at EcoFringe. Talk to them with #BIM4M2chat and listen in to hear what’s going on. You might also like their Linkedin Group.
• On the afternoon of Wednesday 9th I’ll be at Resource Event, the sister event at Excel dedicated to resource efficiency and circularity.  I’ll be tweeting from the talks at #BuildCircular including Jeremy Sumaray, sustainability manager at client Armstrong Ceilings who is speaking at 2pm about taking lifecycle into account in your specifying.  Armstrong are giving away at Herman Miller Setu c2c chair to visitors to their stand, so you might want to pop over and have a chat with them about their cradle-to-cradle products so you can get in the draw.

• I’ll meeting up with some Be2camp folk at The Fox at Excel for some informal drinks at 5pm on Wednesday 9th. 
• Then from 6pm ish I’ll be at the UK-GBC annual Birthday Party where we will be presenting the Rising Star Award 2016. This year Mark Fretwell can’t make it so I’ll be presenting the award. I’ve not presented an award before, come and give me some moral support! You can sign up to come to the party here.
