Following my post a month ago about Noble Francis’ appearance on the Today Programme on Radio 4, I’m delighted to share with you the Construction Products Association blog which launched at the end of the month.
The CPA (who have been on twitter since the summer of 2011 @CPA_Tweets) say,
“In response to demand from our members and wider stakeholders, we’re pleased to announce the launch of the Construction Products Association blog. Our economics, technical, sustainability and external affairs teams will regularly contribute content affording us an opportunity to expand on current news and events relevant to Construction Products.
We’re looking forward to engaging with you and the wider audience through this new platform, and hope you’ll find it of value and interest. By its very nature the blog is meant to encourage feedback and discussion, so please don’t hesitate to share opinions and ideas. Our Association can only benefit from your contribution.”
You’ll notice that the CPA has the key features of a blog that make it more than just a news feed – first person engaging content, comments turned on, share buttons, ability to subscribe via RSS or email. They appear to have quite a wide target audience appropriate to their role, but over time as the blog develops focus and content may well change and evolve.
Please visit the CPA Blog, comment on the posts and subscribe to receive updates from them. I look forward to reading Noble’s first blog post.
