Shiny new gadgets are very exciting aren’t they. We all like to have a try. Usually it is a few months later when we realise we haven’t worked out what the real value of them is. By which time everyone has moved on to something else and we can’t get support to use them properly.
And there are so many tools and techniques we can use to help us go where we want to go. How to choose what to use?
The beginning is to identify what you want to be. What you aspire to achieve. Then you can get some informed advice, and choose the right tools for the job.
I wrote about this two years ago here: Before we all rush in.
I’ve got a feeling many more people will be rushing in shortly. Don’t forget to work out what you are trying to do first.
