Next week (Thursday 13th October) I shall be at the RIBA Housing conference in Cambridge and shall be live blogging the event using CoveritLive.
This will be my first outing with CoveritLive, a service which allows visitors to read about an event and participate in a discussion through an interactive console. The system has been used successfully by Paul Wilkinson and other Be2campers at many Be2camp events, and was also used at the RIBA Practice Stakeholders Forum in 2009 to share the event with people around the world, including readers in Australia and the USA.
On Thursday people who cannot attend the RIBA Housing Conference can at least get a flavour of what is being discussed by visiting the live blog page here and clicking on the coveritlive console. The event runs from 9am to 5.30pm on Thursday 13th October. Further details here.
I’m hoping the use of CoveritLive will be a positive learning experience for me and would be interested in hearing your feedback on the event. If it is successful I hope to use CoveritLive more extensively as an addition to my events toolbox.
Visit the event page here, where you can set a reminder to be emailed to you. There is also a reminder widget on the right hand sidebar.
